2008 Enrolment

Players from last year will be posted a registration form for 2008. If you didn't play last year you can download it here.

A form is sent out with a covering letter with important information about the enrolment process.  You can view a PDF copy of the enrolment letter here.

Registration

The completed forms and payment can be sent by post, or done in person.

Via Post - Forward completed registration form (one per player) plus a cheque to:

In person - Wednesday 13 February 2008 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Wakefield Park Clubrooms, Adelaide Road, Island Bay.

Registration closes on February 28 2008

Club Registration Night - Wednesday 13th February 2008 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the IBU Clubrooms, Wakefield Park , Adelaide Road, Island Bay.
A second-hand boot swap / buy / sell will also be available on the night.
For more information about the boot swap, please see the information form.
Champs Sports will be on hand on registration night to supply your many soccer gear requirements; Shorts, socks, boots, shin pads, etc.

All payments must be made in cash or by cheque (no EFTPOS facility).

Grading

Junior players are graded according to age.


Born 2001/2002/2003 - 7th grade Player Development Programme (PDP)
Born 2000 = 8th grade
Born 1999 = 9th grade
Born 1998 = 10th grade
Born 1997 = 11th grade
Born 1996 = 12th grade
Born 1995 = 13th grade

Female junior players may play down one age group. eg; born 1996 = 12th grade but may choose to play 11th grade. All girls will be placed in the lower age grade unless you indicate otherwise on the enrolment form.

Please ensure that you enter the grade that you want to play in this season on the enrolment form.

Island Bay United Football Club does not run nursery grade teams, but is happy to refer young players to the SportZone Sports “Little Dribblers” Nursery Grade Soccer for under-5 year olds.

Trials will be held for players wanting to play in a division one team. See the IBU homepage for information about trials.
